222.0 this morning. Not quite a pound from yesterday, but close – let’s hope I can keep this up. Today should be okay, tomorrow – especially dinner tomorrow – is going to be a challenge. I need to find something that isn’t Moe’s.

Another day, another pound…
Sunday, July 25th, 2010Lunch
Friday, July 23rd, 2010Just had a subway lunch – the usual 6 inch turkey. The bread they use really is starting to be entirely too much for me…
Well crap.
Thursday, July 22nd, 2010Back up to 225.0 this morning. I have really got to figure out what I’m doing wrong… had a salad, some meat, some potatoes, some corn last night for dinner at Whole Foods. I really need to drop another 25 pounds off – would like to do so by the end of the year…
Dinner was had
Sunday, July 11th, 2010… and it was good. Sirloin, corn on the cob, and mashed potatoes. Probably could have done without the potatoes, but they tasted good anyway.
Back on track maybe?
Thursday, July 1st, 2010223.0 this morning, and the gym machine has me flat for three or four days, so maybe I’m back on track after a brief interruption this week? Hope so… Saturday is going to be a bad-for-weight-loss dinner at Kanki, although I don’t plan to overdo it. Next weekend will be the “blowout” party – though I’v not started planning that one at all yet. Hmm. Hope I can get the bike back tonight or tomorrow night to get a ride in Saturday morning – then I’ve got a workout at 11am and want to try to get another coat of lacquer on the second end table.
Late to the gate
Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010Came in at 224.4 this morning – it’s all that gunk from Saturday night’s beer and last night’s Moe Monday deal – hoping tomorrow morning is lower. Creeping up on the body fat %, too, so I definitely need to watch it. Had a good workout with Meredith this morning, managed 1.5 laps around the building without stopping, the remaining .5 laps after a 1 minute breather. I’m getting it together, just have a long ways to go yet. Another workout with Meredith tomorrow night, then the usual Thursday morning – this week will be tiring. Had Subway for lunch, splurged and got Coldstone ice cream because it was so freaking hot. Ended up with a bit of a toothache, likely due to the ice cream, so we probably shouldn’t do that again. Had a burger for dinner chatting with Samantha about her new firm’s new web site – the one I and my graphics elf created. I’ll link to that as soon as they’ve got it up and runing on their server – don’t want to steal their thunder. But now, it’s time to cash in for the night.
One beer did that?
Sunday, June 20th, 2010So I went out to the Flying Saucer last night for a chicken sandwich for dinner. I couldn’t think of anyplace else to go, so I fell back on old habits. I planned on a single beer and dinner, and then a good night’s sleep. Well, that one beer got me the second drunkest I’ve ever been – it had a kick like an enraged mule and bit back like it was a starving hyena. After just one, I had to order three glasses of water and some chips and queso before I felt like I could drive home safely – and even then. once I got outside, I decided I needed a walk up and down Glenwood before going to my car. Holy smokes. If you ever want to get drunk fast, order the Ommegang Three Philosophers. I felt like a rank amateur.
This morning, I weighed in at 223.0 – all that salt from the chips and all the water trying to dilute the beer. ONE beer!
Lunch
Thursday, June 17th, 2010Had a salad with grilled chicken for lunch today. For some reson, I’m not staying awake this afternoon at all. I shouldn’t be tired – I got to bed fairly early last night, so despite the early morning workout today I’ve had enough sleep.
Another off day
Thursday, June 17th, 2010Except it was due to injury, not just mental wonkiness. I twisted my ankle stepping off a curb the wrong way last night, so I couldn’t run or do anything that required ankle strength this morning. So we focused on arms and core, which is good because that’s where I need the most work done, but the ankle is still twinging. Last night’s dinner was freaking awesome – place I never knew existed called 18 Seaboard. Definitely going to have to go there again, it’s a step or two above the usual Ale House type of place. Unfortunately, it sort of stayed with me… 224.4 this morning. But oh so worth it.
Racquetball!
Monday, June 14th, 2010An awesome game… especially when it makes you sweat like nobody’s business. Which is what I did today for 45 minutes just before lunch. I hit a stride and won the last two of four games (the last one we only played to 11 due to time constraints). Going back outside after that wasn’t much fun, but I survived, got some Subway for lunch, and and happy to be back in the nice cool office now.
