Post-beer morning

After the two beers last night and a workout this morning, I’m still at 220.2, so I’m quite happy with things.  Of course, somethign had to go wrong, and I discovered that the something in question is the new weight-loss tracking site I’m using, physicsdiet.com – the hosting account has evidently been suspended.  I’m so not happy about that – I was just starting to really understand and get used to using it.

pJust finished about an hour of racquetball – on a very empty stomach.  I’m hungrier than sin – eating a footlong sub for the first time in years (I usually get a 6 inch).  This had better have a good effect on the scale!/p

I’m back up to 223.6 this morning.  Moe Mondays kills me – I think I’m going to have to start eating something other than Moe’s.  I need to lose weight, not regain everything I’ve lost for the week every Monday night.  On a different note, I did 3 1/2 laps this morning running, then 1/4 lap walk and 1/4 lap run.  Then after the workout, I did another lap running, and about 1/2 walk and 1/2 run.  So all in all, I’m calling it 5 laps running – which is the next best thing to a mile.  Holy smokes, I may actually be able to run!

For not much that’s interesting.  I’m at 223.2 this morning – was way up the past day or two, to around 225/226 – probably because of an overage of beer Wednesday.  That seems to have settled out, so I need to start losing again.  Going to work today to move some servers, then a workout with Meredith which will (hopefully) involve me being able to run 3 and maybe even 4 laps today.  3 is still somewhat difficult, and if it’s too hot I’ll only make 3, but I can hope for 4.  Let’s see what I’ve got in me.

Back into the thick of things

Had a workout this morning – training with Meredith – and felt like I was actually making progress.  I’ve felt like I’ve been stalled for a while now, so it was good to feel like I’d made some sort of breakthrough.  Even if it is a minor one.  Ran three laps around the building today – slow jog, but I’m getting there.  Trying to keep things up…

Back up to 224.2 this morning.  Yes, I had a few beers Friday night.  And some cheese fries.  I guess I’m going to have to really buckle down and drop the beer thing if I want to drop the weight…  Had a good ride Saturday morning with Lee and Tanner.  Today is furniture work, so not much of a workout.

Getting back to this journal today.  It’s been a busy week at work.  Finally weighed in today, 223.0 at home, 225 at the gym, which is about the expected variance.  Need to figure out how to lose more – I like the results I’ve seen so far, but I still want to get down to a target weight of 190 +/- 5.  Had a good workout this morning, but tried to run and my shins started screaming at me.  More stretching, maybe?

20 minutes of stepevil, plus two and a half laps, plus 5 mintues of stepevil, plus some weights, plus another lap.  I’m not supposed to weigh myself until Thursday due to the weekend’s indulgences, but I don’t think I gained too much weight.  Some, yes, but hopefully not too much.

Starting with a bike ride at 9am and a workout at 11.  223.2 this morning, so we’re making some progress, but I want to get back down to 220 and below soon.  Right now, though, it’s time to go prep for the ride, I’m expecting people to start showing up in about 15 minutes.

I ran just over 1/2 mile today.  Three laps around the building, each lap is 0.2 miles – holy crap.  Talk about a major modern miracle – me, running, for that long a distance!  Will wonders never cease?
